Human Rights

This piece is about Human Rights and was written by the children of Lumcloon National School
Co.Offaly, Ireland. 30 children read the Universal Declaration on Human Rights page and we decided to write our own Human Rights page.
They are based on the real Human Rights page.
It is the 50th Anniversary of the Declaration on Human Rights, they were first passed in 1948.
It is now 1998. Every year they are celebrated and remembered on the 10th of December.
Some countries break these rules.
Here are some of the thoughts we had on Human Rights.

Arlene & Niall, 6th class

Everyone should be allowed to have their own home and family.
