Mary had a little Lamb

Michael had a fun chipmunk,
He was all black and hairy,
He dressed him up for Halloween,
But he was far too scary.
He scared away everyone,
Who came to trick or treat,
When they saw his monster costume,
They fled off down the street.
Evan
Sally had a mad tiger,
She thought it was her friend,
And then the tiger took a walk,
Around a magic bend.
Sally got a new tiger,
And it was fairly sad,
She went and shot this little guy,
Now she was simply mad!
Eoghan
Amy had a kangaroo,
She called him Billy-Joe,
She planned a trip to Timbuktu,
But he refused to go.
Amy dragged him all the way,
But he said it was too scary,
He jumped over seven pine trees,
And then he ran away.

Tommy had a little pig,
He was all plump and pink,
He’d sing and dance and prance around,
On an icy rink.

Betty had a red dragon,
That used to breathe red fire,
She flew across to Blanchardstown,
And landed on the Spire.

Chloe had a koala-bear,
She called him little Moe,
She sold him at the fair one day,
And home he did not go.
He had black toast and hot water,
He enjoyed his lunch hour,
He met a big fat pig one day ,
And picked her a nice flower.
Tara
Sarah had a mucky pig,
She called her Rita Ann,
She danced and danced to Snow Patrol,
She is their biggest fan.

Polly had a big panda,
He was all black and white,
We gave him bacon and cabbage,
It kept him up all night.
Aoife
Aoife had a big fat lion,
Who was all brown and soft,
We gave him food all day and night,
We kept him in the loft.

Emer had a brown hamster
She called him little Sam.
He started on a crazy diet
Of only bread and jam.
Hazel
Mary had a big monkey,
But he looked so scary,
She brought him back to the zoo,
‘Cause he got so hairy.
Mary got a new monkey,
He was a great big fairy,
He acted like a millionaire,
But did not impress Mary.
Niall
Toni had a big fat snake,
She called it Slimy Joe,
It ate all day and slept all night,
Now that’s no way to go!
Gabrielle
Evan had a great white shark,
Guess what it liked to eat?
It ate whatever was in sight,
Which was a mighty feat!
Evan sent him to the zoo,
And he really liked it,
The shark ate well all of the time,
But the zoo was soon deserted.

Johnny had a drunken joey,
Who stumbled all around,
I gave him food to calm him down,
Then he fell to the ground.
Chloe
Timmy had a tall giraffe,
He measured ten foot tall,
He went to buy some big tall stilts,
To watch the world go by.
Martin
Deirdre had a big dodo,
She called him Domino,
The next day poor Domino died,
Now that was a real no-go!

Jackie had a kangaroo,
That really loved her food,
Any time she had a meal,
She went, “Oh! No! Atishoo!”

Chloe had a little bear,
Who liked to eat some nuts,
He liked Maths; he was so clever,
He loved to draw the struts.

Martin had a crazy cat,
He loved to eat all day,
Now he’s huge; he’s ten stone one,
That’s the price he had to pay!
Daniel
Tina had a big donkey,
Its hair was white and grey,
We gave him carrots and turnips,
But he really wanted hay!
George
Lulu had a fluffy cat,
He was her favourite pet,
She fed him rashers and jelly beans,
And brought him to the vet.
Hollie
Britney had a little dog,
Who was so black, black, black,
He loved to play with his soft toys,
He played right out the back.
