Sports Day 2008
Every year in June all the classes take part in Sports Day. On Sports Day we have a lot of fun doing the sack race, potato race, running race, bean bag race and obstacle race. In the Obstacle Course we had to do different tasks such as skipping, hopping the ball, moving along benches on our hands and knees, running in and out of ladders etc. Everyone gets to join in. If it is wet we do our races inside. The teachers put a lot of effort in to it and we all have great fun. When we are outside for the races we are divided in to our classes. It starts from Junior Infants and works its way up to the older classes. After we finish our games we have a party. Sports Day is a great day.
