Science is Fun
Our school takes part in the Discover Primary Science Programme. We love doing the different experiments in class.
The picture shows a new experiment we did this year. We made 3d shapes using toothpicks and marshmallow sweets. Click on the picture to see what we eventually ended up with.
We made a Mobius Strip in class. This is a stip of paper that has only one side. We drew a line with our pencils and didn't stop until we reached the point we started the line.
School will close for the Easter Break on 26th March 2010 which will be the final day of the school term.
All schools will re-open on 12th April 2010.
The dates for Confession, Confirmation and Commuinion 2010 are as follows:
Confirmation - May 14th
Communion - May 22nd
Congratulations to Orla Kenny who came first in Offaly in her category in the INTO/EBS Handwriting Competition and to Nathan Cleary who was joint winner in his category in the same competition.
