The First School Crest
This was our school crest.
The school never had a crest so all the children of Lumcloon National
School designed and drew a crest of their own. The crest by Elaine Lally,
Caitriona Kearns, Elaine Barrett and Louise Rosney was chosen.
"We thought it would be a good idea to put the date the school was built on the crest with a drawing of the school. We coloured it the colours of the school football team (green & white). That's how we created the Lumcloon School Crest."

School will close for the Easter Break on 26th March 2010 which will be the final day of the school term.
All schools will re-open on 12th April 2010.
The dates for Confession, Confirmation and Commuinion 2010 are as follows:
Confirmation - May 14th
Communion - May 22nd
Congratulations to Orla Kenny who came first in Offaly in her category in the INTO/EBS Handwriting Competition and to Nathan Cleary who was joint winner in his category in the same competition.
