Some Poems by the Sixth Class

A Cloud Or Is It ?

One day I saw a big black cloud,
But what a tail, a tail coming from a cloud ?
I ran to see what it was it was no cloud,
It was no cloud it was some smoke.
I ran and ran to see, see big yellow
Flames spring from one, the other,
A boy screams help.
But finally along comes a man
And saves the boy,
The boy said,
WOW

Monsters

I like monsters
They're so
slimy and frightening
They love scaring slashing
Spiting and biting.
Some are thin some are fat
Some are as big as a house
And as small as a rat.
There could be one here
Right under my bed
Waiting for me to go to sleep
So it can bite off my head
There's monsters every were now
And their all having a ball
And I can see they're looking at me
Maybe I don't like monsters
At all.

Spring

I love to
Run in the
Long grass
In spring

I love to
Climb the
Big trees
And jump off them

Sometimes

Sometimes in the morning
When dawn at last awakes can you hear the birds,
All singing and hear the songs they make.

Sometimes in the morning
When you arise from sleep can you hear the soft,
Lambs cry and do you hear them weep.

And sometimes in the morning,
When all of nature is at rest,
Think of all these things and how birds make their nests.

That Big Old Door

When I approach the door
I think, why am I so near to the floor?
And then I think,
That maybe it's the fact that,
I'm only almost four
And then I roar
Why can't I be four.
Because maybe if I was four,
I'd be able to open,
That big old door.

Distracted

I can't write a poem, I'm too distracted.
There's a man outside, his skull is fractured.
The teachers somehow all got drunk.
At the window there is a skunk.
The skunk is in danger of been fried.
I'm too distracted, I can't decide!
Outside a lion just let a roar.
Acid rain has begun to pour.
In the window, a spy spied.
But like I said, I can't decide
