Netdays 2001 - Quiz

How good are you at trivia? Are you a whizz at sports, great at Geography or a killer at General Knowledge?
If so, (or even if you're not!!) why not take part in our Netdays'00 revolving primary schools quiz?spinning question mark

We are looking for nine schools (making a total of ten including ourselves - 5th & 6th classes in Lumcloon N.S.) to go on-line twice a day in a head-to-head in a quest for the Netdays Millennium Masterclass.

We are limiting the classes eligible to fifth and sixth classes. This is to help ensure an even standard of questions for each school.

The first nine to contact us will be chosen, so hurry! The selected schools will answer ten questions which they will receive by e-mail, at 10 a.m. and at 2 p.m. each day during Netdays '00. Each school will have just five minutes to reply to the e-mail with the answers (with the threat of a two point penalty for every minute they go over this time limit).

Each participating school will be asked to compile one of the ten sets of questions used in the quiz. They can be on any topic (history, sport, curriculum etc.) The questions must be submitted to a pre-appointed Independent Quiz Co-ordinator one week before Netdays for checking (repeats, mistakes etc.). School will not answer their own questions, so each school will answer nine sets of questions in all. Each school will be assigned a day and time on which to circulate their set of questions to the other schools and they will be then responsible for correcting the other schools' answers and replying to each school with scores after the quiz. More details on the rules will be circulated once the schools have been selected.

Time Up!!!!

We have our ten schools and we are ready to battle it out for the title of Millennium Masterclass.
