A Dark and Spooky Night

A story by Aiméè Flaherty - Third Class

It was a Dark and Spooky night in the Valley of Tirm and everyone was in bed except for the witches of the valley. There were three of them, one had red hair another had black and last but not least one had blonde. They were wicked, even wickeder than the wizard. I saw them on their evening flyby and I followed them to their castle and I was really scared. A vampire I saw first and then about three ghosts! I went into the castle deeper and deeper and deeper and I saw about 200 bats. I was in the heart of the castle and I saw 50 ghosts and bats, vampires and something new, goblins and gnomes. At about 11 o'clock 5 skeletons brought me to the witches. They said "A girl! Oh yummy" I ran and ran as fast as I could. The skeletons, goblins, gnomes, bats, vampires and worst of all the witches followed me. "Help, Help Helllppp meee!!" My head spun around and around about 12 times. I was going lou-lou. I need help. I had an idea. I saw the wishing owl and I wished and wished and it worked. I am home.
