Well Done Shanneese
Shanneese in fourth class represented our school in the local Excellent Factor talent competition held in Birr. She sang beautifully and managed to get through to the second round. Unfortunately she didn't make to the final but she did us proud and she had a great time. Here's what she had to say about her experience.
The Excellent Factor
"My name is Shanneese Bolton. During my time on the Excellent Factor it was fun but what's important is that I have made new friends. I realised it doesn't matter if I get through or not, the important thing is that I got up there and sang the best I could. Since I was in 1st class, Mr Gilligan taught me how to sing as I sing now. I was so thankful to be in the Excellent Factor. Here is some advice for you. Remember, it's not all about winning; it's about having fun and trying your very best. I learned this lesson from my Daddy."
On the night of the final there was a surprise in store for us all. All schools that eneterd the competition were entered into a draw for a new laptop. Our school was lucky enough to win the laptop. So we were delighted with Shanneese's achievement and winning the laptop.
